Seriously, how to be a racer? I know that this is a pretty much masculine area. But there might be some way to be a female car racer, isn't it?

Anyone else heard of ChumpCar? It's the latest incarnation of roadracing enduros for $500 (no typo!) cars. Although it's a spin-off of the "lemons" races you may be familiar with, there will be differences, not the least of which is that ChumpCar will offer prize money. Rules, entry fees, and schedule should be available any day at ChumpCar.com.

Thomas and a hard charging Colton Heath, who started in 18th position to take home the trophy in the 600 Unlimited Class on night one of the Clay Cup Nationals 2009 at Deming Speedway. In the 1200's Brock Lemley was top qualifier, won his head race and was able to move up from 18th to 5th to take the points lead into night two of racing. Duane Mackey took home the trophy in the A main in front of Kyle Kenoyer and Wade Spreckelmeyer for his first feature win in 10+ years. 600 A Main
