I discovered 2 issues on carracing.com this morning with image file uploading which was causing the uploads to fail. Both issues have been identified and corrected on all production systems.

If you experience any troubles when uploading your images to carracing.com, please contact support (support@carracing.com) so that we can resolve the issue quickly.

This morning I updated the classifieds section of carracing.com. There are many new features and many cleanups to make them look better. some of the major updates are:

• you now can post up to 12 photos of your listing and add a title & caption to the photo
• listing photo's now popup into a window which lets you browse medium size with an option to view a large size photo (up to 1,280 pixels)
• added a few fields for shipping information
• when you add or edit a listing, it is automatically saved until you complete the edit. basically, you can start to create a listing and come back another day and finish it without losing your changes.
• the browsing and viewing of classifieds has been made to look much better :-)
• plus numerous improvements behind the scenes to maintain better data integrity of your listings

Today I updated the members Account Manager homepage. The new Account Manager homepage provides an overall view of all your information and significantly improves managing your account.

Additionaly, this past weekend I fixed some bugs that were introduced with the last group of updates which randomly slowed down the site.

I have lots of new features that I am working on which will be appearing on CarRacing.com over the next few months. Stay tuned...

This morning I released some significant updates to CarRacing.com. These updates have been the work over the past few months and present many changes to the site. These Include:

• A Completely new Blog editing system with major enhancements so that users have full control of how their blog entry is laid out.
• We now support input in any language character set (Fully UTF-8 compliant)
• updated look and feel to all the group menus and left side menu
• improved memebers menu
• added new groups in sprint cars and stock cars
• a decrease of about 40% in page-load times
• more new car reviews have been added
• some bugs were fixed in the RSS feeds
• And many many more improvements behind the scenes...

I will be adding many smaller updates over the next week or two which didnt make it into todays update. We have tried our best to test and eliminate any bugs which may have crept-in with these updates, but if anyone comes across broken links or other weird stuff, please email support@carracing.com and we will take care of them ASAP.

I just added a great new feature to CarRacing.com, New Car test Drives. The New Car Test Drive reviews are written by professional automotive journalists and feature a wealth of information and specifications in each review.

I will also be adding Sneak Previews shortly along with some really kool tools for browsing and comparing new vehicles.
